In Fulyn DeRane you will find a remarkably sophisticated range of music. From the mystery of 'Seppukku Madonna' to the soul-wrenching agony of 'Alice Doesn't Mind,' the band never fails to strike a universal cord.

The title of Fulyn DeRane's CD,"Buried and Laughing," is a fitting description of the band's three year existence.

FDR, as their fans have dubbed them, has been quite busy. Fulyn DeRane was born in a small room in Sayreville, NJ and has been on a musical whirlwind ever since. Philadelphia native Dio DeRane got together with Jian to test their musical chemistry. What transpired was a collection of 14 incendiary songs. "We were hoping for one good tune," admits Dio, "not two albums worth!."

Jian and Dio recruited local talent John DaSilva on drums and the core of FDR was formed. With the addition of Liam Condesso on keyboards, lead guitarist Rui Sousa, and bassist Mitch Cojocariu, the lineup was finally complete. They began touring regionally while continuing to write and record what would become "Buried and Laughing."

Fulyn DeRane was first noticed on the Philadelphia rock club circuit. After a few electrifying performances, a dedicated fan base took root. Thankfully it continues to grow as does the buzz about FDR.

What lies ahead for Fulyn DeRane? Some say an eventual (most believe inevitable) worldwide breakthrough. Amid the rehearsals, touring and promotion for the new CD, FDR is currently working on more recordings.
